For Sale:| Panzer-related wood burnings | Blue HBT Tanker Work Outfit |
| Enlisted issue cavalry visor cap | Officer-tailored Panzer wrap |
| Panzer-Regiment 24 Officer M36 SOLD | 4th-Pattern GD Cuff Title |
These are both wood burnings I obtained from a Mohawk Arms Auction way back in the mid-80's. I realize anyone with a woodburning tool possibly crank these out, but I have never seen anything like them before.
1. Larger plaque (about 11"x13" with hanging string) - top: Panzer IV overrunning wire obstacles with a stanza from the Panzer song at the top: "With thundering motor, as fast as lightning against the enemy, protected by our tank…"
The reverse features a dedication to the soldier's mother: "To my dear mother during these serious times in the summer of 1941 from her son, Otto." $250.
2. Smaller plaque, about 8"x10" with hanging string) - bottom: Panzer I's moving cross-country with a likeness of the soldier on top. The soldier is from Panzer-Regiment 4, as can be seen by the numeral on his shoulder strap as well as the inscription at the bottom. The soldier wears a beret and, of interest, has Braunschweiger skulls on his 1st-pattern wrap.
The reverse features a dedication. Roughly: "In commemoration of the march of liberation into Germanic Austria on 13 March 1938 and (of my stay at) Kaisersteinbruck in the province of Burgenland in August 1938". This is followed by a signature, the unit (7./PR4) and "currently at Luxemburg (near Vienna)". $250.
Both for S400.

Relatively unknown and frequently mistaken for a Luftwaffe item is the blue HBT tanker work outfit. In addition to showing images of this rare uniform, I have also included period pictures showing the ensemble in use. It was more widely used than is generally known, seeing service in North Africa, Italy, the Eastern Front and the Western Front (1944).
